The Working Rhythm
How it works if you give me the #blessing of being your Melbourne copywriter
I’m here to make your life easier and will do everything in my power to adapt to your business’s preferred way of operating.
But to give you an idea, here’s the way it usually works with most of my freelance copywriting clients.
1. Get in touch with me +
You can do this via my contact page. Once I've received your details, we can either chat about your project requirements:
- via email - this creates an email trail, perfect for referring back to later down the track
- via a FREE 30-minute discovery call - great for those that don't mind the sound of two pugs loudly snoring or squabbling in the background. Make sure you drop your best contact number so I can reach you
I'm easy, just let me know what works best for you.
2. A quote for your budget +
I’ll provide you with a rough quote so you can assess whether my copywriting fees are aligned with your budget. If you are working to a strict budget, let's have a chat about how we can best tackle it together.
3. Locking it in - Deposits & dotted Lines +
Woohoo! Thank you for choosing me to be your Melbourne copywriter.🎉
Here's where I'll send you a simple document that outlines the deliverables, timelines, fees and a few T&Cs.
Once you sign the dotted lines, I'll need a 25% deposit to secure your writing time. As a freelancer, this deposit acts as a little amulet against tyre kickers, which thankfully, has yet to happen, tap wood.
4. Let's get the party started +
Ready to rock and roll? You’ll give me an amazing brief that ensures I can give that first draft my best shot. Not sure what to include in the brief? I can kick start you with a basic template.
I’ll also complement your brief and supplied information with my own keyword and industry research.
Once I send you the first draft, you'll get two rounds of feedback, on me - for free!
5. Judgement day - First draft & review +
Based on our agreed time frame for deliverables, I’ll send you a first draft. This is our opportunity to make sure that we’re 100% on the same page and that I’m on the right track for what we’ve discussed.
More often than not, my clients love the first draft.
6. Second time lucky - Second draft & final review +
Armed with the feedback you’ve provided in the first round, I’ll send over a second draft for your review.
This is your final chance to be nit-picky and request any final changes.
7. The finish line & invoicing +
Once we’re happy chippies, I will send you the final version along with the invoice for the project. In private, I’ll do a victory dance and probably gorge on some treat-yo’-self snacks.
I’m so glad you’re here.
Let’s be friends.
I can’t wait to learn all about your business.
